Vision Baptist Church is an Independent, Fundamental, King James Bible believing Baptist Church located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The church was organized on June 1, 1980 under the direction of Brother Plato Shepherd. In 1988, God called Brother Plato Shepherd into the mission field to plant more churches across the United States. Brother Farrell Shepherd became the Pastor at this time. In 2001 we started Vision Baptist Printing Ministry - through which we provide many tracts and other literature - free as the Lord provides to churches and individuals around the globe. After 26 years at Vision Baptist Church - Brother Farrell Shepherd resigned - following Gods will for him and his wife, he was called to Kentucky. In September 2014 Bro. Joel Gray was extended an invitation to candidate as Pastor and was unanimously voted in as our new Pastor.
